Krishna Dinata

Krishna Dinata (KIS) is an Indonesian-born audio engineer and music producer based in Los Angeles. His passion for music began early through playing electone and singing in church, eventually leading him to win numerous band, choir, and acapella competitions during his school years. Krishna later honed his craft at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he studied Music Production and Engineering, Electronic Production and Design, and minored in Writing for TV and New Media. At Berklee, he was awarded the Berklee World Tour Scholarship and the PWMTD Award, studying under Grammy-winning mentors like Enrique Gonzalez Müller, John Paterno, and Prince Charles Alexander.
Krishna began his professional journey in Los Angeles as an intern at Clear Lake Recording Studios in North Hollywood, where he gained hands-on experience and deep insight into the music and recording industry. He currently works as an audio engineer at Igloo Music Studios in Burbank and works as a freelance recording engineer across various high-profile studios in the Los Angeles area. Throughout his career he has worked on high-profile projects for major platforms like Netflix, handling critical aspects of audio post-production. He believes in lifelong learning and sees sound as a powerful tool for creating meaningful impact and fostering community through shared artistic expression.
Outside the studio, Krishna is a passionate foodie who loves exploring LA’s diverse culinary scene. Whether he’s trying the newest KBBQ spot in Koreatown or experimenting with new recipes at home, cooking is his creative outlet beyond music. His latest obsession? Exploring tea flavors—iced, hot, ice cream, and in pastries (he hasn't tried matcha with pasta yet). For Krishna, food is another form of artistry, and he's always down for the next great bite.
